In 1970 the triumph of the Porsche 917 model began. Under the leadership of John Wyer Automotive and with great financial support of Gulf Oil, the team won the Racing Car World Championship for Porsche in 1970 and 1971.
However the Porsche 908-family was also to play a role. With the 908/3 model, Porsche built an entirely new car, which was largely based on the 909 Bergspyder, an extremely light one-seated speedster, built in 1968. Both models are part of Roald Goethe's extraordinary collection.
The Porsche Kremer K8 tops off the Porsche-collection of the unique Rofgo-Collektion. It was constructed by the brothers Erwin and Manfred Kremer from Kremer Racing Motorsport-Team, which is located in Cologne.
