In the beautiful city of Salzburg Austria´s biggest trade fair for classic cars opens its gates for the 11th time from 16th to 18th October 2015. Because of the positive experiences I had already decided to exhibit at this mass gathering for vintage car fans, renowned sellers, automobile clubs and classic cars again during the last Classic Expo Salzburg.

Das gestiegene Interesse an dieser Veranstaltung spiegelt auch die zusätzliche The rising interest in this event is mirrored by the additional exhibition area in the trade fair centre Salzburg, which was enlarged by 40.000 square metres. Another novelty is that with hall 1 an entire hall will be available for this year´s programme´s highlights.

In Hall 1 a special exhibition is dedicated to the prestigious brand "Jaguar" that will celebrate its 80th anniversary here. Among others, one model of the D-Type-Series will be shown, which made the 3rd place in the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1957.

Another special exhibition in Hall 1 with the title "50 Years Beatles in Salzburg" commemorates the 13th of March 1965, when the world´s most famous band arrived at Salzburg airport and gave a press conference and in order to shoot the winter scenes for the famous Beatles movie "Help!" in Austria during their stay till 22nd March. On the occasion of this 50th anniversary photo works by Skrein and original instruments will be shown.

Just like in the previous years there will be an exhibition of historical emergency cars and the popular "Salz & Öl Rallye", that will re-create the rally feeling of 60 years ago and which has chosen the trade fair centre in Salzburg as its starting and finishing point.

In Hall 9 the Dorotheum, one of Europe´s largest car dealerships will auction selected exhibits for the first time on two days at the weekend. In addition to exclusive classic cars also 25 Prinzgauer, Austrian off-road vehicles, will go under the hammer.

At my 42 sqm stall in Hall 10 I will present 12 of my artworks. On the one hand I will bring a selection of my 2014 p, on the other hand I will show diverse works from my recent series "Epochal brands – Cars". Fitting to the special exhibition on the occasion of Jaguar´s 80th anniversary, of course the artwork "Epochal brands - Cars - Jaguar" will be part of the exhibition.
