Today is the day. Under the patronage and presentation of the ZDF-TV-journalist Dunja Hayali the Civic Trust Rheinviertel invites to their 6th Foundation Ball in the guesthouse of the federal government in the Steigenberger Grandhotel Petersberg in Königswinter near Bonn.
The trust´s motto “The gift to give” and the dynamics deriving from Dr. Wolfgang Picken some time ago caused me to make a contribution within the range of my possibilities, too.
With my painting "The Priester" I would like to support Dean Picken and the Civic Trust in their enterprise to extend and modify the Sonja-Kill Kindergarten into a three-group integrative day nursery.
On the agenda of today´s evening are a gala dinner, musically accompanied by Marcus Schinkel and his band, a gospel-shanty performance of Kathy Kelly (bekannt durch die Band „Kelly-Family“) (known from the Kelly-Family) and a raffle with attractive prices. I will report on the outcome of this evening, shortly.
