Addendum on the Exhibition at Swiss Classic World 2014
Category: EventsBy: Ferencz Olivier
At the end of May I travelled to Switzerland with the three new painting series "Racing Legends – Le Mans" in order to present them in the new Allmend-Halls at the Swiss Classic World 2014 in Luzern.
Also on board were further artworks from the art-categories Logoart and Einzigart of which all are concerned with automobile topics. On two days of the trade fair I was able to present ten artworks at a stall of 40 square metres to the interested public.
According to the host, this first holding of the Swiss Classic World with more than 110 exhibitors, several club-presentations and about 5800 visitors the targeted aim was more than fulfilled.
In two fully booked halls international high-class exhibitors showed a solid mix of two- and four-wheeled vintage and classic rarities of past epochs.
Besides an Aston Martin C-Type Speed from 1938, a Bugatti Le Mans racing car and Clark Gable´s Jaguar XK 120 from the year 1949 certainly one of the legendary Mercedes Grand Prix cars from 1914, which had been able to bring in a multiple victory at the Grand Prix in France almost 100 years ago, belonged to the highlights of the trade fair. Further highlights were the special exhibition on the 100st anniversary of the brand Maserati as well as the presentations on the topic VW-Beetle.
After both trade show appearances at the Techno Classica in Essen, this was my first appearance in another country. Retrospectively, this small but exquisite trade fair has already proved itself successful due to the sales talks there. I have already made the decision to book myself in for the second holding of the Swiss Classic World next year with my next project.
Next Swiss Classic World in Luzern will take place on 30th and 31st of May 2015.
