A Masterpiece for the Champions – Handing over the artwork to the VfB Stuttgart.

An exclusive work of art:
Today in the morning, VfB-president Erwin Staudt and VfB-chairman Ulrich Ruf received a very exclusive masterpiece in the conference room of the club´s headquarters. For the freelance artist Ferencz Olivier Hetyei, inspired by the club winning its fifth German championship, had created a coat of arms of the club on roundabout four square metres with very exclusive optic refinements. 

Small photographic motive embedded:
The artwork captivates by its strong object character and its collaged, plastic and relief-like structure. In the centre of the VfB´s coat of arms a small photographic motive has been embedded as a reminiscence to Armin Veh and his champion-team, which shows the cheering VfB-team in the Gottlieb Daimler stadium on 19th May.

Like a valuable find:
“My works shall appear like finds of valuable cultural artefacts in a museum.”, the creator of the VfB´s coat of arms, Ferencz Olivier Hetyei emphasized. In the past Hetyei, among others, perpetuated FC Liverpool and the FIFA-logo in his works. “This artwork reminds us of the great and long-lasting tradition of VfB Stuttgart and will receive a place of honour”, said Erwin Staudt during the handing over of the picture. VfB-chairman Ulrich Ruf added:”We intend to place this exclusive work of art in a prominent place in the Gottlieb Daimler Stadium.” A worthy environment for a valuable reminiscence to the VfB´s history.
